“I was a little nervous since this isn't a brand I've used before, but I've seen them sold stupidly cheap on AliExpress and the like, but I was pleasantly surprised!
Works perfectly and returns more information on energy usage than any of the other modules I've used, and I *think* TKB publish firmware upgrades too (unlike almost everyone else who forces you to use their own controller if you want upgrades!)
In future, these are the modules I'll be buying”
“Ive been trying to use this to monitor power of my washing machine and as emergency shut down in case of water leakage.
Unfortunately, i believe that its not suitable for rated power, as ive tried three different modules and every one of them failed in similar fashion after just 2-5 washing cycles. Low temperature, low spinning speed washing cycles I must add, so the power consumption was definetely nowhere near 3000W.
At some point they all just started switching power on and off with 1 second frequency and after few days of ticking like that they failed completely.
It may be good for controlling lights, etc, but definitely not suitable for high power devices.”
