You list this as compatible with Homey, but it's not. Like many so called compatible brands, Homey relies on 3rd party or community developers to write drivers (they call them Apps), and the various developers haven't added compatibility for this or original Yale Connected Keyfree), despite requests. Now that the lock is discontinued, I doubt it ever will be.

Took the plunge despite the reviews, only been in for a day and a newcomer to z wave but for me 3 points of note 1. Easy install and configuration (Vera plus, used generic device to Conexis L1) 2. Battery dropped by 1% in 24 hours- keeping an eye on it, but seems ok ( and will alert me anyway so better than finding out later!) 3. Cannot do a complete deadlock (needs a physical handle lift) on its own, but unlocks and will relock ok so this is the lock design not the automation.

Despite a few reports of bad battery drain I personally have not experienced that with the L2 Lock and SmartThings! Over my testing the battery dropped 5% over 8 days with over 60 remote lock/unlocks. I have a feeling it would have dropped that with that many locks anyway. Works a treat especially with RBoy's Device Handler and SmartApps.

This new Yale Zwave module really works fine with ZWave, I tested it on Fibaro HC2 controller and Yale Conexis L1. Sadly I had to remove it after 10 days of installation where I had to replace the lock battery twice, this module causes the battery to die in less than 4 days.
