Well worth reading the manual on these too, there's a huge array of options to do cool stuff like automatically turning off after a set time, delaying turning on, etc - very useful for implementing safety functions on things like irrigation systems and motorised gates.
Only problem with Vera is they've messed up the integration which can lead to delays and lag both in operating the device over Z-Wave and reacting to status changes when the device is operated locally. Supposedly fixed in the latest Vera firmware, but all they've done is to prevent it from Including as a Secure device ..... while it does now work fine without issue, the lack of security may be a problem for some (for example if needing to control it via Association from A N Other Secure device).”
