Just bought this for the humidity feature in the ensuite and possible future PIR use. However I hadn't expected it to be so big (inappropriatly for a bathroom, will look like a camera). Owning the Fibaro multi-sensor I expected something compact, seems Aeotec don't build small. It was on 25% discount but I should have ignored that and bought one of the other brands that would look better. Also it uses 4xAAA batteries (not included) so its likely not as energy efficient as the ones that use the small CR type batteries (as suggested by other reviews)

The device was immediately recognised by HS3 and all the sensors were made available to use. You can select which sensors you want to receive reports from. I only need the light sensor at the moment and that has been easy to set up and use. Great to find yet another product that works first time straight out of the box.

A step change from the previous generation Aeon sensor. This one configured on my Vera Edge straight out of the box for all the sensor functions - very neat and much more simple than the previous model. I will buy more. Note that I haven't yet tested the battery life........

I have both Aeon and Fibao multi-sensors; Fibaro's look better and I believe are more accurate, but lack humidity sensor. Aeon do work great first time on both my Vera and Fibaro hub. Being so small you can put them anywhere. To get a great update level you need to have them plugged in, otherwise the battery last a short time. By the way, the Fibaro has NO plug-in level. Your imagination will stop before you limits of what you can do with these. If you buy 1 Home Automation Product this has to be in that list.

One of the few devices that readily connected and appeared on my VeraEdge controller without any problems.

Temperature and humidity sensor seem to work ok, but I needed it for movement as well. It really did not live up to my expectations. Sensor (on battery) will not register movement all the time and it seems to loose its charge very quickly. I wanted to use it outside because of the ability to register low temperatures, but in the manual they advise not to use the movement sensor outside because of false positives... For the price I expected more.

Works OK with Z-Wave Popp Hub Gateway - Gen5 once a z-wave connection is made which can take for ever or longer. I don't know if it is an Aeon Labs or Popp problem but it is frustrating. Still testing as I don't yet trust the system.

With wakeup extended to 30min, the battery performance is not brilliant. Lasts about 3months. LED indication a bit confusing with instructions. Works fine with Homeseer 3
