“I’ve been using in notebooks since I was a child, over 40 years of scribbling, doodling and writing. The world slows down when I’ve got a pen to hand and paper to scribble leave a mark on. I enjoy the experience. Over the years I’ve used a multitude of different paper types, some being vastly better than others. These differences change the experience. Now only recently have I discovered both Kokuyo and The Journal Shop (I first purchased the Jibun Techo A5) since then I’ve bought sketch books and PERPANEP notebook. The PERPANEP ultra smooth is a notebook in its own little universe. The paper is so smooth that it doesn’t seem real, it’s an absolute joy to write upon. The notebook opens completely flat at any page, and then folds back flat. I chose the dotted page and found both the quality and experience second to none in its price. An amazing writing experience for a very reasonable price.”
