“This is a good small spiral notepad, with nice paper and perforated for easy tearing. But I got it mainly because I much prefer quad printed paper to single lines. Quad is what is called 'graph' here, printing in small squares than in horizontal lines. I love quad simply because you can write comfortably in either orientation. The print is light enough to not disturb reading, but clear enough to write easily. On this pad, I like that the quad is printed all the way over the edge, there's no border at all on the open sides. The downside is it's one-sided, the other is blank. Useful if you want to sketch, but I'd rather it be printed on both sides. The front cover is nice and the back board is good and thick. It's very nicely made, and I appreciate it's a top quality item imported from Japan, and delivery is in the the price, but £3 for a small notepad is a little over. The pad was smaller than I anticipated even though I did check the measurements. On balance, I'm happy with my buy, I wanted to see one for myself. But I'd only add this to my basket again if it was less expensive.”
