“If I could have left 0 stars for the black version of these, I would. The quality of the paper used in the black version is inferior to the white version. The paper absorbency draws the ink right through in seconds - meaning it distorts the ink and results in a swatch that doesn’t represent the ink used. Don’t order them because The Journal Shop will do absolutely nothing about it aside from “make a note of the feedback”. Strangely, customer service will tell patronise you and state the black version is “more technically difficult” - Translation - I’m the problem! This is one of the times that being a paper snob works in my favour, the back and white are described the same, no caveats in the description etc, the black version is an inferior product and not fit for purpose. Don’t waste your money on them, stick with the white instead because the most The Journal Shop will do is patronise you and offer you 10% off your next order. I think I need to find a new place to shop.”
