Bought as a gift for a 'mature' student, I (and he) were delighted with this journal. It looks lovely & feels beautiful. I feel that it looks far more expensive than it actually is. Will definitely purchase more for gifts (and, buying 3 for 2 option I get to keep one too!)

I tend to use Cavallini and Papuro products and have done for some time. I dont quite know what made me lean towards CIAK having never heard of them before, but i was not in the least bit disapointed. everything about it seems to project a heirloom quality. the service was great too! thanks.

Bought this as a present having bought myself a CIAK notebook a while ago. I think these journals are great quality. Horizontal band is handy for sticking things in the journal as well as holding onto a pen. Highly recommended.

I wanted a replacement for a moleskine that was better quality. The quality is good, but the paper thinner than a moleskine sketch book, even tho description says suitable for sketching. I got 2 journals with cream paper - but the creamy colour was significantly different the black one was much paler
