“Bought this because I wanted something beautiful and special to write in, with paper suitable for fountain pen, and that is exactly what I got. I would prefer a plain cover, but really that doesn't matter. The paper takes fountain pen beautifully, it feels nice to write on, does not feather or bleed and does not show on the other side of the paper. Perfect. I now have the Journal Shop bookmarked and will happily recommend this site to friends. Also worth mentioning is the presentation of this journal which comes boxed, so it feels like your birthday when it arrives and you open your parcel :-)”

“This notebook is gorgeous. I bought it to work as a diary/journal and now I have trouble writing in it because it's so beautiful and I don't want to mess it up with random scribbles! I placed my order on Thursday and it arrived on Monday, which is really fast considering I live in Finland. Like said, the price was a bit much, but the book is thick and will last me years, so I consider it a worthy investment.”

“I got my journal in 5 days, all the way from the UK - couldn't believe the fast postage! The quality of the paper is superb - it's all lovely and thick, and like the description says, it feels thick enough that it's decent and not one of these tony notebooks. Lines are lovely, quality is lovely - can't wait to use it in 2014 as my planner/diary.”

“As you will see from my review of the Cream version of this several years ago I am very pleased with this journal. The red version is nice but my personal preference is for the cream version of this journal because i think it feels more luxurious. That said, the red is a nice change and you will not be disappointed”

“It is difficult to quantify this superbly charming, beautifully made journal with mere words and i fear doing so would be doing it a disservice. Aside from the prompt delivery and friendly, informative service a few adjectives that could describe this journal are: elegant, decorous and superlative.”
