“Nice looking, well made, good size. I have two other notebooks from this brand and I would buy 5 or 10 at a time to stock up if I ever come across, but only from a physical shop. Formula for paper has changed with this one. Old : 1 - thick ivory pages, excellent quality; beats e.g. Rhodia any time for me; 2 – handles fountain pen ink exceptionally well; 3 – good for ballpoint pen New: 1 – thick ivory pages, not as bright, softer paper with visible random fibres from recycled material; Average quality paper, would not buy again; 2 – fountain pens feathers badly – unusable; invoice papers on parcels from Japan are fountain pen friendly while this expensive notebook isn’t; 3 – handles regular ballpoint pens only ok; I could only recommend this notebook to use with pressurised or hybrid ink refills.”
