“Generally lovely notebook. I use as a 'general inbox', and as such it is with me at all times when working, and is the primary place I make notes, brainstorm, etc every day. It replaces some Moleskine 'Evernote' Cahairs, and the elastic band is very handy for keeping the most recent, to which I still refer, alongside. It feels solid and well made, though as another reviewer noted, the stiffness of the cover (extend, perhaps, to 'general stiffness of the notebook' though this may change with time & use) does make it a little difficult to use initially. I write in fountain pen (Lamy, medium nib, black ink), and do not experience any bleed-through. Notes on reverse of page can be made out, but not to the point of being distracting or troublesome. Comparing the Pitti to 'standard' Ciak pocket sized journal, I am struggling to identify the value you get for your additional £3. The cover material is nicer (a more leather-like feel/texture), and the green highlight pleasant enough, but I suspect my future purchases will be the standard version.”
