Wow love this pencil, was pleased with the size just right to fit on my passport midori. Couldn't believe how light it is n feels real nice to write with. Use everyday with my diary. Had lots of different pencils but this one beats em all. Thanks again journal shop for such lovely stationary n super fast n friendly service.

Love this pencil and wish I'd known about it earlier, having tried several others before! Bright brass on arrival but will apparently darken with age which will be better :-) Think I'll try changing to 'H' pencil rather than HB as I prefer this for writing - not sure I'll find one to fit tho. Otherwise all good!

Great looking pencil and very versatile. Great for taking notes on a daily basis. Would recommend to anyone.

This thing is cool looking. What's more if you want to use a different pencil in it you can simply chop your chosen pencil down to size and use some electrical tape to secure it into place.

Best thing ever for those tricky Sudokus & Codewords. Rubber works brilliantly.

Not cheap, can't argue that it is. When you first hold it with the wooden pencil sticking out, it looks as though it will bend/snap - it doesn't. You could just jam an old golf pencil in the elastic of a midori notebook, but that just feels.. wrong. Get this, ideally with the larger of the two pen holders. The short wooden pencil that comes with it is v. good quality. It will take (stubby) normal hex pencils, but the round ones will fit better. I like the darker vintage/distressed feel the brass gets after a while, although it goes through a greasy/dirty feeling stage first.

Great item. Trully handy, aesthetically beautiful and unexpectedly more comfortable to use than I thought. Great for carrying it inside your books, always ready for a note.
