“There are loads of plummy colours out there but this one grinds its heels on the skins, simmers them for a week, distils every gram of hue from them and serves them in a crystal goblet to you. Intense is not the word. it puts the DAM in damson. There are a handful of Diamine inks where they just nail it, and this is one. The ink somehow transcends the mere hue. They should call this one ‘Jamson'.”
