“A very pretty object, with a lovely weight to it. But it does not sharpen to a long point I am afraid. I can only achieve that with a desk sharpener.”

“Superb sharpener. The absolute king of sharpeners. Beautifully engineered, the parts fit together with great precision. The resulting point is always spot on and very easy to achieve. I always get 100% success with this sharpener and it is now my favourite mainly because the superb engineering makes it a joy to use and always finishes to a good point with smooth taper. Sharpenings are collected neatly and there is plenty of room. Recommended without hesitation!”

We're so sorry to hear this! Blackwing sharpeners are usually robust little things, and tend to last quite a long time. If the sharpener is giving you trouble, please can you reach out to our lovely CS who would be glad to replace it for you? It sounds like it might be faulty.
