“This doesn’t smell like sandalwood at all to be honest. It smells almost identical to talcum powder/baby powder which I’m really not a fan of. Disappointed I bought this scent in the beard oil too - will hopefully return that one.
As far as the balm’s effectiveness goes, I used the mandarin scent before and it works nicely. Not a very strong hold but keeps your beard soft and in shape.”
