“Tried a few balms and this is among the best. The smell is good, very much mandarin with only a hint of anything else. The scent doesn't last though; as it's purely essential oils the smell is gone in 2-3 hours.
The texture is quite grainy to begin with but melts down fine. Hold is medium.
Where this balm excels is in softening the beard. Where many balms wear out during the day and leave the beard a bit dry or greasy, this really does condition the hair rather than just greasing it. Oh, and the tins, while not very practical, are super cool.
Top stuff, will very likely try more scents.”
“I recently purchased this balm in addition to the Kent Beard Brush. Having only used beard oils in the past, I was unsure at what the balm would add to the mix. However the results after using this balm have been great, my beard is now incredibly soft and there's a slight hold which reins in those rogue hairs.
I can't recommend this product enough and plan to purchase the matching beard oil soon.
