“The godly goblet of holiness. The top of the pile of the Belgian beer glasses. Sturdy little buggers, quite hard to break, but do try not to, especially if they’re filled with the nectar itself! Almost ashamed to say that my first Orval glass may or may not have come back from holiday in Belgium, many years ago now, after we visited the monastery and then stopped for a glass in the brasserie nearby. It might have been “swiped”… but made it home and lived happily ever after. Almost. That one lasted for quite a while until it broke and since then have always bought my glasses from here. This order was for a relatively new convert and included some orvals with the glass. Absolutely couldn’t even think of allowing him to drink them from anything other than this! Received by happy recipient, who I am quite sure will look after the chalice!”

“Belgian beers should only be drunk from the glass specifically designed for them and never from the bottle. I broke my last Orval glass and had to wait for the Beer Company to get new stock. So I had to drink wine instead for a number of weeks. Then I received the two replacements and tested them out straight away. Thank you Belgium Beer Company.”
