Stringers of Edinburgh is one of Scotland’s longest established and most respected musical instrument dealers. We supply violins, violas, cellos and bows of all levels and offer the highest standard in repair and restoration. Stringers London opened in 2007 and over the past thirteen years has grown to become one of London's leading violin dealers. In both shops, all of our staff members are proficient string players, many are former or current teachers, and always happy to help and advise. All instruments are set up by our team of expert restorers in our on-site workshops and played and assessed by staff before going on sale.

“This was a re buy after the one that came in my Superior Violin Outfit had come to the end of its life after two years of being used very heavily. The new one is perfect. The tension and weight are great and it suits any styles of playing. I’ve used mine for traditional Scottish music and Classical and it is excellent for both. Would really recommend.”
