Stringers London opened in 2007 and over the past thirteen years has grown to become one of London's leading violin dealers. In both shops, all of our staff members are proficient string players, many are former or current teachers, and always happy to help and advise. “The C5 that I tried was a good bow, but pulled too harsh a sound from my particular violin for my liking - that might well be different for another instrument, though, or for another C5 stick. Also, at this price point, I would suggest looking at pernambuco bows, as well, as there can be some cracking workshop bows floating around. So - C5s will have stronger competition than will C4s and C3s For what it's worth, I preferred the C4 that I tried to this particular C5, but it is still a good bow.”
