“I’ve been using a Korfker Pirastro rest for my violin for some years and finally decided, out of frustration with uncomfortable, heavy shoulder rests which fall off the instrument, to try one on my viola. I think the Luna rest is fantastic! It’s less expensive, less complicated to set up, has collapsible legs, feels really comfortable, and releases the sound from the instrument immeasurably. It took a little while to find the right adjustments with the violin rest, but this felt comfortable immediately with the recommended settings. Would highly recommend!”
