About Stringers Music:

Stringers of Edinburgh is one of Scotland’s longest established and most respected musical instrument dealers. We supply violins, violas, cellos and bows of all levels and offer the highest standard in repair and restoration. Stringers London opened in 2007 and over the past thirteen years has grown to become one of London's leading violin dealers. In both shops, all of our staff members are proficient string players, many are former or current teachers, and always happy to help and advise. All instruments are set up by our team of expert restorers in our on-site workshops and played and assessed by staff before going on sale.

“Assuming 'outfit hire ' refers to the Celli itself, unfortunately mine loses its tuning at the drop of a hat and the A string peg keeps completely loosening! I have taken it back once already, but it keeps happening. Very disheartening.”

“My memories of the cellos I used to borrow from school (a long time ago) were not great, so it was a lovely surprise - and a relief - to find that the one I hired from Stringers was good. Everything seems to be good quality, even the case. Very happy with it all.”
