“Having used a big national broker I was in the process of buying they’d classed me as adverse & had found a high mortgage lender . When 5 weeks in they advised me of a withdrawal of my mortgage application and they couldn’t do anything more!! My credit file wasn’t particularly bad (Arranged payments 3 years ago, no missed payments in 4 years) a FTB with 10% deposit I read the reviews on Simply and got in touch online with 30 minutes I’d had a call from Reiss, I explained the situation, that I’d put in an offer and if they couldn’t help I’d have to withdraw from the sale. My credit report was sent across and the work began (or magic) within 48 Hrs a DIP had been received from a high street lender - not an adverse lender! This meant a £175 a pm difference, and 2.3% difference in apr. My case was passed to Chantelle for pre underwriting, everything was completed and put through to the lender (2 weeks from my online enquiry to submitting full application), within 3 days confirmation had been returned the lender had accepted my application ( great Friday feeling knowing the news), then 4 days later (inc weekend) mortgage offer received. It took a total of 3 weeks from my enquiry to receiving my mortgage offer! Reiss, Chantelle and the team kept me updated with everything, I’d had more info and contact from them in the short 3 weeks than I’d had in 7 weeks with the other company. Would I recommend Simply… Absolutely, Yes there is a fee, however that is worth it for the standard of service I have received, for the time and due diligence spent on ensuring my full application was ready to be sent to the lender & for that to get approval in 3 days was amazing! Will definitely be looking at using the team again for remortgage and have recommended them to family & friends. Now I can get back to packing knowing I’m buying my first little home for me!”

“We got our offer this week with Bluestone Mortgages and couldn't be happier. Higher interest rate but that is the price you pay for bad credit, just so glad that Simply could find us a lender. The process took a few weeks with lots of documents requested but we got there in the end”
