“Very disappointing. These - batch no 7363M - are not of the usual excellent quality i expect from Seggiano. The artichokes are large, because the hairy choke has not been removed as it should have been, and the oil used to preserve them is of poor quality. I know climate damage has affected producers around the mediterranean, but if you charge high proces for high quality products, it's not fair to fob loyal customers off with the barely good-enough - and in the long run, not wise business practice.”
