Complete with Makita DC18SH Twin Charger + 2 x BL1850B 5.0 a/h Batteries. Its powerful 36V DC motor drive system is powered by 2 x 18v Li-ion batteries and is capable of reaching a no load speed of up to 3,600rpm, providing decent cutting power with up to 30 minutes of run time. The Makita DLM432CT2 has a 430mm cutting diameter and features a practical, easy-to-use lever for cutting height adjustment which allows for 13 x different cutting heights within a 20mm to 75mm range. This lawn mower has an electronic current limiter for overload protection as well as a 3-stage battery gauge to indicate charge level. The 50 litre grass box also has a level indicator. With no trailing wires and no pull start as with petrol lawn mowers, the Makita DLM432CT2 is a more practical and efficient alternative with zero emissions and lower noise and vibration levels. It has carry handles front and rear, and a rubberised handle bar which folds down for easy storage and transportation. To ensure this robust lawn mower is protected against water and dust ingress during the most harsh conditions, it features Makita's innovative XPT technology whilst its wheels have built in ball bearings for additional durability. The Makita DC18SH 7.2v - 18v Li-ion Dual Twin Port Charger is a two port charger that is able to charge two Makita slide style Li-ion and Ni-MH batteries(with adapter) at the same time. The CPU built into the DC18SH charger communicates with the individual batteries and analyses its condition, the battery may have been abused by heat, overdischarging, or weathered by cycle-age. Makita Lithium-ion battery chargers evenly charge throughout all the cells in the battery, on discharging the battery draws evenly resulting in an optimum charge. Cells in some other brands of batteries are not charged evenly, resulting in cells not being used completely, so workloads are decreased at a charge. This optimised charging system extends the life of the battery considerably so Makita are able to produce fast charge times because their batteries and chargers are kept cool whilst the battery is connected.
