The new and improved saw boasts a number of additional features, including a quick release clamp, ambidextrous ergonomic trigger, on-board tool storage, heavy duty square thread bar, bench mounting holes in the base, 45° locking pin and Oilite bushes. With a powerful 2200W motor that can provide a no load speed of 1550rpm, this steel cut off saw can effortlessly glide through mild steel materials such as steel plate, square tube, angle iron, pipe, tube and metal roofing. There is virtually no heat or sparks produced during operation which means that after a cut has been achieved, the user is left with a smooth, burr-free and instantly workable finish to the workpiece. It is equipped with a high performing, powerful torque gear-box that helps to decrease pressure on the motor and enhance the tool’s overall performance. The user can perform accurate and versatile cuts from 0 - 45° using the fast action swivel vice and the TCT blade has a great cutting capacity of 95 x 180mm thanks to its large 355mm diameter. The S355CPS is excellent value for money and very economical as the user can achieve up to 1000 cuts before the TCT steel blade needs replaced. Additionally, it features an integrated pull-out collection tray for easy disposal of excess metal chips which enables the user to maintain a clean and tidy workspace, and a safety guard for increased user safety. Evolution have designed a number of optional blades that are compatible with their TCT Steel Saw so that the user can perform cuts in stainless steel, thin steel and aluminium too (must be purchased separately).
