Beautifully made in Sheffield UK. This stainless steel knife handle has a useful but limited range of 3 blade types which are 0.42mm thick; more sturdy (thicker) than a standard scalpel blade but still good for delicate tasks. The shape and detail of the handle almost makes it a work of art. The only drawback is the size and position of the knurled clamping screws which do not suit my grip. I replaced these with an M3 button head (hex) stainless bolt and half nut with thread cut to length. I find this mod makes it much more comfortable to grip and even more elegant looking. Will last for ever.

A quality craft knife which will last a lifetime , No plastic involved in its construction, just good solid stainless steel. I remember my father using one 50 years ago for marquetry work although at that time they were made of brass.

Lovely craft knife that oozes quality in my opinion. Be aware that you need the craft knife blades that are designed to go with this the knife’s handle, i.e. other Swann Morton scalpel blades will fit in the knife, although they will not seat properly so you can apply an sort of meaningful pressure onto the blade when cutting.

It's an excellent tool in many way but I have some issues when switching blades. The screw heads could be smaller.
