Freshwater king prawns are truly delicious prawns. We supply these raw so they can be thrown into any dish without worrying about overcooking them. They have been deveined, cutting down the back of the prawn and removing their heads. This means they are super easy to peel either before or after cooking. They have then been quickly frozen to lock in the flavour and are ready to use when you are prepared for them.
They are brilliant stir-fried, grilled or thrown into sauces such as curries. They are approximately 2-3 inches long so that you will get a succulent, meaty prawn from each shell. A brilliant product, and once you have tried them, you will want a pack in your freezer for evermore! You will know when they are cooked because they turn pink. Serve immediately to avoid overcooking.
