We are proud to supply freshly frozen Cape Hake Fillets, and it's genuinely delicious. We portion it from full fillets and quickly freeze it to lock in the flavour and quality. The hake is fantastic, and once you've tried it, we have no doubt it'll become a staple in your freezer.
Hake is a delicate and slightly sweet fish that firms up when cooked. It is a favourite in Spain, so much so they refer to it as The king of the fish (El Rey del Pez). Many Brits enjoy it on holiday but do not eat it at home. We want to change that. Hake lends itself to various cooking styles. This product comes skinned & boned. It's ready to defrost and use or cook straight from frozen as we freeze it in portions. It's incredible baked in the oven with cherry tomatoes, olives and red onions or why not try our hake recipe - it's easy and delicious!
Hake is an excellent food for anyone looking for a high-protein, low-calorie dinner choice. It is a lean fish, the perfect choice for a lean dinner.

We really enjoy hake as an alternative to other white fish. These fillets have a lovely flaky texture and have a more delicate flavour than cod or haddock. Delicious!

I recently tried Cape Hake fillets instead of my usual Sea Bass. I found them on a par with Sea Bass and they were cheaper. I found that they had more bones in them but my wife found none so I the jury is out on that one. I would buy both.
