“Unfortunately the company changed suppliers and the new light brown is a lot darker than the previous stock. It's almost dark brown so I'm unsure how the actual dark brown would look. Slightly disappointed.”

As we discussed during our phone call, because Creostain is a stain rather than a paint—and since wood is a natural material—the final colour can vary depending on the type and condition of the wood, compared to the approximate colour swatch.

“Really pleased with the product. Just the right shade on my two year old panels. This is the first time I’ve treated them since they were installed and I think they look better now than when new. Would definitely recommend the product and quite low odour. Appears to be an able substitute to old fashioned creosote. Found application to be easiest with 3 inch normal paint brush.”
