“The kimono was purchased as a gift for my niece who absolutely loved it. I have purchased scarves from you which I am delighted with but they came with a hefty add on cost for customs duty in France which was a bit of a shock as it was only mentioned in the small print and therefore I wasn't expecting it. I only became aware of this when they were delivered.”

I'm very sorry that the customs charges came as a surprise to you. Due to the UK no longer being part of the European Union, deliveries outside of the UK come with customs and duty charges.
This information can be found on our website under the "Shipping Information" tab. We will be sure to pass on your feedback to the appropriate department to take in to review. This is something we are working on as we do not want our customers to have any unnecessary charges.
