Good morning Kim, we are extremely saddened to see your review. Unfortunately we have received no communication from you so please could I ask that you kindly check that you have our correct email address. We have also tried to contact you directly but there was no answer on your phone. We wished to reassure that the marble we have sourced for this item is 100% Carrara marble. We actually work with a very specialised company in China who are a long standing business and experts in the craft of stonework. This is indeed a skilled labour force as I am sure you can appreciate that working often with stone such as travertine for example and cutting it to very specific shapes requires a high skill. There are many manufacturers all over the world trying to achieve the same thing and many products on the market but we believe we our Chinese partner is one of the best and in the process of finding our manufacturing partners we do sample a lot at great time and expense to ourselves. Hence the reason for our claims because we know how considered our process is. Again, we are sorry that you feel so strongly about this product but again be assured it is Carrara marble.
