About Jericho Coffee Traders:

Kiwi James and his wife Lizzie had always been in love with the idea of having their own coffee business, often scheming about how they would go about starting it up.

The opportunity came in 2009 when they found a beautiful Vespa trike for sale on the side of the road, and both thought: “that needs a coffee machine on the back of it”! And so, Jericho Coffee Traders was born!

Now we have a thriving online business and three locations in Oxford, UK - our Espresso bar on the High Street, our Cafe at the Oxford Castle, and our Cafe & Roastery on Osney Mead - all serving delicious espresso and filter coffees accompanied by locally made pastries and cakes.

“Wow Wow Wow - Absolutely loved my afternoon Barista Training. The group size of 4 was perfect, allowing us to perfect our craft and practice the "latte art". Great indepth knowledge imparted by Viktor. Would definately recommend and would love to bring family along so we can all know how to make the perfect cup!”

“I bought this as a gift for my wife and went along too! The two baristas were so knowledgeable about their craft and we learned so much about coffee types, and how to get the perfect extraction. Then we got hands on with expresso machine itself, from grind to latte art (harder than it looks!) finishing off with a trip through the wall to the roaster. If your coffee means a lot to you - highly recommended.”

“My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our course yesterday. Victor was a great communicator, so welcoming, informative and fun. The course was so interesting and really great value for money. “We had a wonderful afternoon! Viktor was friendly and professional and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. We learned so much from him about coffee in all its aromatic complexity which was so interesting, and then enjoyed being baristas ourselves - brewing coffee, tasting coffee and even trying our hand at coffee art!! Thank you Viktor and the JCT team for a fabulous experience - we really enjoyed our time with you :))”
