About Jericho Coffee Traders:

Kiwi James and his wife Lizzie had always been in love with the idea of having their own coffee business, often scheming about how they would go about starting it up.

The opportunity came in 2009 when they found a beautiful Vespa trike for sale on the side of the road, and both thought: “that needs a coffee machine on the back of it”! And so, Jericho Coffee Traders was born!

Now we have a thriving online business and three locations in Oxford, UK - our Espresso bar on the High Street, our Cafe at the Oxford Castle, and our Cafe & Roastery on Osney Mead - all serving delicious espresso and filter coffees accompanied by locally made pastries and cakes.

“I am signed up to a Jericho subscription coffee service. Every 4 weeks, they send me freshly roasted coffee, I grind it and drink it over 4 weeks and then they send me more. Occasionally I don't drink it all, so I delay my new delivery a week (really easy) and sometimes I drink more, so I make another order. I like to try different coffees so order the surprise package - it isn't really surprising that every order is excellent though! Fresh coffee is so much better than supermarket coffee that may have been sitting round for months/years and these guys are awesome.”

“We have been having the surprise package every month for getting on for three years now and have never been disappointed. There is a great variety of beautiful whole bean coffees sent and we will not be changing our supplier any time soon!”
