I was asked to leave some feedback by Laura so here it goes, like with anything there are always different opinions on what is right. + Some good parts about structure/presentation, not sure if these "tips" were exclusive for the virtual environemnt though. + nice engaged trainer + good material from negotiation training on labeling etc but again, is this exclusive for the virtual environment or just communication in general. - trainer spoke way to much (90/10 when it really should be 20/80) -Too long introduction (35 min) -Too long until the first break (Almost 1,5h, then too short between break 1 and 2) -I think you can go deeper how virtual is different -Most "best practice" within virtual suggest trainer going from a one man band to be more of a producer and have the participants as co-facilitators. This felt like a rebuilt classroom session that did not consider how virtual delivery and engagement is different.

Attended the Communicating in a virtual world open programme, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Content was relevant and the facilitation was of a high standard.

The trainer Mike Kelly was excellent at setting the scene and moving us all through the content. The session was really informative and I will be taking away several helpful hints and tips to improve my performance.

Communicating in a Virtual World" Workshop is an excellent way of refreshing some common sense good practices for when conducting online meetings, but also to learn some do's and don'ts - very easy to apply - on how to engage better with your audience and make the most of this new way of communicating. Excellent trainer as well - Mike, who conducted a very interactive session!
