“Ridiculous customer service, rude personnel and appalling attitude. There was a problem with their online ordering portal where it did not copy the correct delivery address. After raising the issue with them the lady who dealt with my complaint did not want to believe me and instead insisted on charging me not one, but two additional shipping fees to divert the shipment when I should not be paying any as it is their system's fault. On top of all this, she was so rude to me and put the phone down in the middle of my sentence. I sent an email of complaint to their director, but I never heard from him either.
My advice is to stay clear of Hampshire Generators if you are banking on after-sales service. They are happy to take your money, but after that, they do not want to know.
However, there was one person worth mentioning who was very helpful at the start and he gave me good advice on which generator to buy.”
