EcoFlow Smart Home Panel Reviews

In terms of functionality, the product will do what it promises but only if you consider the installation requirements carefully and have an "American Electrical Components to British Electrical Components" translation book handy - specifically the reference to "AFCI/GFCI" in the installation guide! I would recommend obtaining the latest Installation Guide PDF from the Ecoflow website as well as it adds additional clarity and diagrams to the installation process. The main point for British installers is that you cannot have or use any type of RCD (including RCBO, AFDD) circuit breakers in the upstream panel (where the grid tails come in). This basically means that any home with an 18th Edition Amndmt. 2 installation that uses RCBOs will need another Consumer Unit installing. The RCBOs in the main CU will be replaced with MCBs and the RCBOs installed downstream of the Smart Home Panel to ensure circuits remain protects. If you don't do this, whenever you switch a circuit from grid to battery, the RCBO will trip. As a review of the device itself, it does exactly what it says on the tin and will enable you to provide backup battery power and/or energy arbitrage for up to 10 circuits, having some on-grid and some from battery power if you choose. You can use just one Delta Pro with the SHP and still provide backup to all 10 circuits (for this UK version) but note the output power of one Delta Pro is 3.6kW but with two would be 7.2kW.
