“I bought this in advance of planned maintenance of our local infrastructure, due to last for ten hours. It readily kept our fridge and solar water pump going for several hours, and because I left it plugged into the mains when I went out for the afternoon, the battery was fully charged again when I came home. It wouldn’t handle everything we would need for long periods, but would manage shorter power cuts, or longer outages for a lower load, but I also have one of Hampshire’s dual fuel systems as backup. That said, the Ecoflow works so well I’m seriously considering some of their solar panels to make this unit even more versatile.”
“Purchased the River Pro after looking for a solution to power essentials on a large Marine tank during power cuts. The unit is great for this, when not in UPS mode the x-boost mode powers 2x 300w heaters the return pump and my wavemakers for over 2 hours drawing 690 Watts out of the River pro! The xboost drops the voltage so not recommended for all devices but fine for aquarium heaters - resultant drop means heaters aren't as powerful but they work well enough! I will probably use this as a portable camping power station in the future, would like to pair with solar panel.

“I chose the Ecoflow brand over the Goal Zero and Bluetti as the charge time is much faster. It was sent next day delivery, well packed with a premium looking box. I worked out that the PRO version gave the best value for money of the RIVER series with a good battery capacity of 720wh and this can be doubled in the future with the add on battery.
There is an app that connects your phone to the unit which we haven’t done yet but looks like a great feature.”
“The Ecoflow River Pro is very good quality and is finished extremely well - it has a real quality feel to it. I chose it as the extra capacity was important to me and it can be upgraded with the additional large external battery if I need to in the future.
I had to wait about 10 days for delivery but that was expected - it arrived charged to 80% and was up to 100% within about 45 minutes. Only tested it on the lights and fridge in our campervan so far and it works perfectly with a low fan noise.
Far better than a petrol generator if you can live with the lower output which nowadays with LED lights and low power items is easy.
Highly recommended and the service from Hampshire Generators was great as well.”
