“I wanted to buy a Honda generator for the obvious quality of the product, but there is over a year wait for the generator I researched and wanted. This meant a compromise ... with most generators available being Chineese with the obvious quality concerns... so I opted for the American built Champion CPG4000DHY.
I can only say I am totally delighted with this little machine, assembly out of the box only took 5 minutes and straight away I noticed components such as nuts and bolts were made of quality material.
The battery voltage was over 13 volts and started the generator on the first half turn of the crank.
It is quieter and runs smoother than I expected and is super easy to move around on nice big wheels.
For the money, this is a superb generator, I can only say I'm happy the Honda was out of stock.
