“I settled on these mats after much contemplation, and the choice was a good one. The 12mm mats are being used as general purpose gym flooring (underneath machines, dumbell rack etc.) on top of concrete, while 17mm mats have been laid on plywood for a lifting platform. The 'amoebic' design is sufficiently low profile that it has no effect where not desired (e.g. it does not affect rope speed in skipping) but still provides excellent traction. Most importantly, there is no discernible compression or instability under heavy load (e.g. under foot for squats and deadlifts). The mats were easily cut to shape with a Stanley knife and a straight edge (about 3 passes for 12 mm). Unsurprisingly, the mats have a strong odour of rubber, but this is already dissipating, and was certainly less unpleasant than other mats that I have used. Overall, an excellent choice for gym flooring.”

“I have been looking and considering rubber gym flooring for some time and after speaking with a very helpfull chap ( sorry cant remember your name) decided on 12 of these mats as I have a 16ft square area. They called me after ordering online to confirm delivery and when I wanted them, they delivered when they said they would. The product is fantastic very good quality ( better than the interlocking tiles i was considering from another site) and perfect for the application. Easy to trim with a sharp knife and looks great. The mats don't require fixing due to their weight about 45kg each, only down fall here is they are heavy and you may need help carrying them and fitting into place.
