“Initially I thought that this product was great. In fact, the actual product probably is great. What I was sent though, was not great at all! The items I make, involve cutting the sheet into varying width strips. I then cut to length and assemble them with rivets, so quite time consuming really. In some of my prototypes, I noticed that there were some cuts in some of the strips after I had done all the work assembling the pieces. Not great I thought, but I went on making other bits just thinking that it would be at one end of the roll. My optimism wasn’t rewarded it seems and recently sent a piece to a customer and there was a complaint about the cuts in the strap. After this I sent a note to raise this issue with Corruba, and received a flat reply that merely directed me to the Ts and Cs. I was”

Hi Anthony My name is Nigel and I am the Sales and Marketing Manager here at Coruba. I have taken a look at your issue and have to agree, the email simply referring you to our T&Cs could have been a little more sensitive and worded better but technically what has been stated isn't incorrect. For the benefit of the record your order was received by you in mid July but you didn't inform us of a problem until September and not until you have cut the product into strips. Not wishing to quote our T&Cs again but our view is that we would expect goods to be inspected upon arrival and any issue reported and if not we would deem them as accepted by yourself. Further to that, once you started to cut the products, we have no control as to how they have been handled or what conditions they may have been subjected to. All of that said, our team member could have explained our stance better and maybe we could have met a compromise. We are not a company that just cuts you off with T&Cs and in most cases we find compromise.
