“I went out for a 12-mile walk in my new Hiking shoes and as usual it rained a bit. When I got home I changed into my house shoes and my feet were perfectly dry. They are very comfortable to walk in.”
“The Stowell is made well. I was pleased to see that I could walk comfortably with custom 3/4 orthotics in them. I wish the shoe was slightly wider in the toe area as the waterproof liner takes up some space. But I walked a few miles in the shoe yesterday with the orthotics and felt well. I like that the shoe is stable on pavement and uneven terrain with good grip.”
“Because the shoes are cut so that they enfold the foot and with a heel support I found that I could not easily put these on. I am 87 years old and do not bend as well as I used to hence the problem. Otherwise the shoes looked very comfortable and I am disappointed that they were not for me!”
