“I bought two pairs of these shoes in the Chatham’s winter sale, and I was disappointed.
For the sale price of £19.99 I think these are a fine enough purchase - I really like the style and the fit, but both pairs of shoes came with separate manufacturers’ errors.
The first pair had an incorrectly fitted insole, and the second had a faulty aglet on the end of the lace that has now fallen off.
As I got them in the sale I am willing to live with the fraying lace (and I don’t trust the next pair I order to come without faults either), but I certainly wouldn’t pay full price for them.
They are a nice pair of shoes, it’s just a shame they don’t seem to be very well made.”
“I liked the look of them in the photo but on receiving them I was a bit disappointed. Had I tried them on in a shop I probably wouldn’t have bought them. Saying that I will keep them though as they are a very good sale price.”
