“Wore my new Solor G2 leather sailing boots yesterday on a coldish grey day. Wind was 12-16 knots and lots of short chop for our race maing the deck and cockpit plenty wet. Boots had excellent grip and my feet were warm and dry. I used a bees wax to prepare them and it appears to soften the leather making them more flexible. For a first day on the water they performed to my expectations and I am very pleased. Nearshore overnight race coming up and looking forward to warm and dry feet for the first time in a long time.
