“Having bought three pairs of these for my particular wide feet over the past few years I was disappointed that this pair has very short laces which prevent them being double knotted. As leather laces of this type do not stay tied up with just a single knot it means I am constantly having to stop and re-tie these or wander around with them trailing loose. Presumably shortening them was a cost-cutting measure but why make them so short that they make the shoes a nuisance to wear?”
