Find Out More Taking care of your BYU Shoes We use a natural crust leather for this product with a natural hand dyed process it means that there could be some loss of colour with natural wear as the product ages. These shoes are not waterproof and as such care should be taken around water sources. If the product does get wet we advise a natural drying process away from heat sources such as radiator, sun, aga, open fire. Care should also be taken with light coloured clothing and furniture to avoid the potential for colour transfer. Once dried it is important to wipe any residual dirt or dust with a dry cloth, we recommend using a natural cream conditioner or beeswax polish to keep your shoes in tip top condition. Apply the conditioner leave for 20 minutes then buff with a clean lint free cloth.
