“These deck shoes are all round excellent, and I would rate them 4 stars, as purchased. The soles are that hard-to-find understated gum colour (that doesn't leave scuff marks), rather than bright white. The leather uppers are soft and well stitched, with a super comfortable lining. The only complaint is the laces. The ones supplied are much brighter than they look in the pictures (alright so they are brand new and would fade), but in any case, brown laces with blue shoes?! Some proper blue leather laces and a set of £5 leather lacing needles from Amazon sorted things out. So they now rate 5 stars, though I had to supply the additional star myself.”
