“It seems like the weirdest praise ever but as a kid, I couldn't eat steak in pies - you name the supermarket or brand and I couldn't touch it (even homemade ones - I had to have a kidney pie only).
This is the first steak pie I can actually eat - the steak is tender, the pastry is thick enough to house it, but not at the expense of the filling. So the fact I can eat these alone is amazing.”
