“The dress itself looks nice, and I feel confident wearing it. I love the idea of it being a long-lasting basic piece in my closet. I will say, however, I had a few problems with sizing, I reviewed the sizing chart and decided I would go with an XL. I was on the smaller size of the XL sizing guide but I figured I should be safe and go with the bigger size. However, due to the stretch of the dress, I would recommend sizing down 1-2 times. When I found the XL too big, I sent it back. The customer service was great, they responded quickly, and were very accommodating. However, due to me living in America, and them not covering the cost of shipping it back it ended up costing me an additional $27 to exchange it for a smaller size. I typically wear an American size 12, sometimes a 14, and found that even the large I ordered didn't fit as tight on me as I would like. It's marketed as having a built-in shapewear effect, but in order to achieve that effect, I feel as if you have to size down a lot. So, I still have to wear shapewear with it to achieve the look I want. So definitely consider that when purchasing. The material is also a little odd, I would describe it as being like athletic wear almost. Slightly rough. So while I do like the dress, I most likely will not order from them again just because I cannot justify paying so much for a clothing item that is very simple. What I mean by that is that a black dress, of the quality I received, is in my opinion, not worth $110. Or $137 which is what I ended up paying overall at the time. I would consider buying from the company again though if they end up changing the feeling of the material they use, making the built-in shapewear more effective, and making returns free. I really enjoy the idea of the company, but find that the material and my experience itself just don't look or feel like the high-end luxury they advertise it as.”
