I really wanted a hybrid of a fishing jacket and a wading jacket with pockets that cannot catch the line when bank fishing when your line may drop lower around you. This is perfect and seems very good quality. Good rain resitance was also paramount and my light weight Patagonia (but shorter) wading jacket has been excellent in this respect. The Swiftcurrent also breathes enough to be a "go to" windstopper in summer conitions with a cool breeze but just one wicking layer beneath (or even cotton). Its length whilst no problem for wading gives enough length to cover your belt line in conditions where you might choose quick drying trousers or waterproof trousers. Good cut also with room for thicker layerin if needed but not a "tent"! This is definitely a "keeper".
