“Great product, but what a shame about the added strawberry flavouring and sugar. I assume that most of your customers are adults - surely we can add in a little fruit and sweetening to suit our own taste if desired, without having it forced on us when we don't want it? Please please do bring out an unflavoured, unsweetened version!”

Hi Katrina, Thank you for your feedback about our Food-Grown Organic Protein + Superfood Power. Feedback is welcomed and appreciated so we can always consider our customers needs and make changes where necessary. Firstly, to reassure you, the entire formula is natural, in line with our brand philosophy to never use synthetics, chemicals or artificial ingredients. We have specifically made our protein blend using no artificial sugars or synthetic flavours as commonly found in many protein powders. Our aim was to create a formula rich in plant nutrients not commonly found in everyday foods. This product was several years in development as we strove to create a nourishing protein powder that was palatable as well as nutrient-dense. Because we use a larger amount of greens and medicinal mushrooms, than other brands who only use smaller amounts (making it less nutrient dense) this took a lot of tweaks. In fact we ran months of trials and taste tests and had to work to make it less earthy as many people found this unpalatable, but we were not prepared to reduce the nutrient dense greens and mushrooms. With this in mind we chose to add a little coconut sugar to make the taste more palatable (the other ingredients make the taste very earthy without the natural coconut sugar), but the amount of sugar per 25g serving is 1.7g which is a little over a third of a teaspoon which is minimal. Coconut sugar is not refined. The strawberry flavouring is natural and extracted from real strawberries. We appreciate however that everyone’s tastes are different. We’re proud to have created a product with the triple power of organic vegan protein powder, supergreens and functional mushrooms which support muscle mass, energy and psychological function. “Really like the product taste and the fact had high protein content. I’m just disappointed didn’t spot that’s it’s only a 14 day supply sent out each month. That’s fine but to me it now seems expensive. In the product description it actually says ‘benefits of daily use’ then gives a list. I guess one could put less into a drink rather than the recommended 3 x tsp. I’m not sure I’ll continue after the offer period as I like to top up my protein intake daily with a drink product.”
